My gift to the Amiga community
I can remain silent no longer. I have placed a gift to the Amiga community in the zone. It is an ISO that allows you to run Amiga OS 4.0 on a PPC Mac Mini, enjoy.

And only 2,96 mb?. Will try to open it with stuffit and see if it grows in size. Just 2,96 seems suspicious.

OMG!
If this doesn't go against forum rules: Please, please, please Zone this. (or provide a link) I know I've been pretty scathing of OS4, but that's more to do with the politics of releasing for 'horrifically expensive / outmoded / non-existent' hardware. OS4 for x86 would be more sensible in my opinion - but, hey. I've been hanging around the Amiga community long enough not to hold out any expectations... ...yes OS4 is a pretty pointless release anyway, but I wouldn't be doing Amiga stuff if it was for sensible reasons! I'll leave it up to Zetr0 to roll out the official welcome. (Oh, yes: "Ho, ho, my sides are veritably splitting with mirth." in advance if this proves to be a hoax. ) Last edited by Charlie; 16 December 2007 at 19:34. |

This is probably an install mini-cd for the Amiga OS4 cd or something.

Does it work on an eMac too?
So now we need OS4 prelease zoned too if we are going to have a chance trying OS4 on a Mac |

Is this really valid?. If it works on a mac it should work on pearpc because i installed the powerpc version of tiger succesfully on my athlon computer. |

Well, it should boot on any G4 Mac if that's the case...
Motorollin' over at Amiga.org has a G4 mini and it won't boot there either. |

Why are some people sad enough to waste time doing things like this?

Post a video if you want people to believe you. Ctrl Alt O F does nothing on my Mac Mini.
