Bunch of Amiga disks on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tem=8191796432
Disks only, unfortunately... Are there any that CAPS needs/wants? edit: on second glance... looks like more than a few are multiple copies of the same thing, and/or magazine coverdisks |

Probably worth getting purely because it has "Tearaway Thomas"!
TT seems to be very rare - a good opportunity since collectors won't be interested in this because there is no box/manual - but perfect for our needs. Problem is, from the picture I can't see what is commerical, and what is coverdisk/pd... Maybe you can get him to send you a better picture? |

Not commercial games...
I wonder how many of those games are actually commercial games at all - lots of them look like coverdisk demos of the games. For example, check the HOL disk scan of Tearaway Thomas http://hol.abime.net/1326/diskscan and compare it with the EBay auction. Nothing even remotely similar.
I realise some different versions exist so the disk scan maybe off another version, but if you compare a disk scan of Amiga Power issue 18 with the 2 bottom right disks, it looks identical. Therefore I think the guy is peddling coverdisks as the real games - the only originals are crap like Workbench 1.3 from the Starter Kit and the fact they are "original" coverdisks... Yeah, I wondered that. Definitely worth getting a better pictiure so we can see the labels...

No need - I've edited the post and uploaded a pic of the disk. It's identical...

One of the HOL team has the original Tearaway Thomas game anyway, I'm sure you can get a dump of it when he has some free time...

Cool. Please let them know it is needed
I actually bought this game some time ago, but the seller "went into hospital" and has not been heard from since. :/ |

I'd even tend to 'Extremely rare' but I've narrowed it down to 3 stars now. |
