PCMCIA hub?

Hi there,
the question is: is there an adaptor that makes possible to connect 2 pcmcia devices in the same time on the 1200?

Nope.

What would you want to use? SRAM & Ethernet? SRAM & CF-Card?

There are alternative interfaces. The internal IDE can be brought out to a CF card slot. The clock port can run USB or fast parallel/serial etc.

On an A1200 you can fit a trap door memory card / accelerator instead of an SRAM card. On an A600 there is the upcoming A608 RAM card.

You can connect a Subway to the clock port of either and use USB keys, USB ethernet cards etc. leaving the PCMCIA port free for an SRAM card if that is what you wanted?

My need is to connect both pcmcia CD-Rom and external CF adaptor. I'm just using the internal ide for the CF hard disk...

At the same time? What for? They are both storage, surely you never need both at the same time?

It is very easy to increase the height of the PCMCIA card slot using a file and then glue the internal CF card adapter to the top of the PCMCIA connector and then you'll be able to remove your internal IDE CF card easily. No need for a PCMCIA CF adapter.

Several users have followed this idea and are happy with it.
