WHDload games with "HD" Resolution/Widescreen fix

Just a thought for all the people using WHDload games on a widescreen monitor/LCD. I know there is a group want to have all 4:3 screen. But wouldn't it be great to have the WHDload games in widescreen?

I mean when I launch games I miss piece of the screen in the bottom and on side with lots of games. If that could be adjusted in a WHDload game so the game launches fitting in widescreen would be awesome! It probably needs adjustment of all the whdload games. I don't know if that require a lot of work per game? It is possible though. I have a Lemmings HD version which runs perfectly (probably not WHDload version).

Are you talking about stretching the image to fit a widescreen ratio? If so, this can be done with the emulator, along with your TV.. Or do you mean to include code in WHDLoad to tell WinUAE to stretch the image?

The easiest solution is to set "automatic scaling" on the filter settings, along with disabling "aspect ratio correction", then all your games will be scaled/stretched to fit the size of your screen.
