Proper ports for Dragon Spirit and Mr. Heli would be great. And some PC-Engine/NES games like Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu. Great platformer. And doable i guess.

Dragon spirit would be not easy to port, due to the fact that it uses a not compatible sprite format and graphics also....

Mr heli the same, small 8x8 pixels for backgrounds, would take quite a bit of time.

Only works with 1 version of the game ATM, and a lot of speed issues in the menu to fix too.. Currently reverse-engineering the game (controls). Possibly the game only misses 1 move: the kick when jumping. Great job.
Trivia : the jump missing is a programming bug, that was present on the retail release of dragon ninja, and fixed only on the les justiciers French compilation.

interesting. I have only analyzed one version.

We can listen to dlfrsilver for ideas of something rippable & adaptable to the miggy. That should reduce the candidates.

Actually, the X68000 version of Castlevania was one of the main porting targets for the Atari Falcon030. Unfortunately it uses transparency layers so it was dropped from the list.

Not an easy one, because 1) the graphics are all chunky, and 2) this game use 2 68000 programs, the main one is protected, if my memory doesn't fail on me.

We can do it, however, the rotations present in game will be the most difficult part to do. To hell the transparency ?.

Thanks for the answer

Would there be a game in the same style as it would be possible? (2D racing: Lotus/Jaguar with nice graphically and a good playability)

Pole Position?

Most arcade racing games I can remember uses hardware scaling. Without sacrifices all of them are hard to port.

Wec Le Mans had a very solid Spectrum port.

If Speccy could do a decent effort then Miggy should be close to arcade.

From memory it took many, many, many years before MAME could emulate WEC Le Mans 24 properly...

Anything of similar quality to the Arcade version on an Amiga is not going to happen.

Thing is, you look at a Spectrum game, stuff moves kind jerkily at your direction but you're ok with it, after all the game has like 2 colors on screen and you are fine because its playable and the sound is good which is already nice for a Spectrum.

Put the same thing on Amiga and people will go like "Oh its too jerky look at those trees shaking" and all.

I still don't believe how people complain about the Super Hang-On port on Amiga.
