I've successfully opened sealed PSU's before with the use of a Dremel and a circular saw blade attachment. As long as you make a clean cut it easily glues back together with a invisible seam.

a dremel i see as the last option.
maybe it does work with the petrol as shown in the video, so you would not damage the case.

I think I'll put this on the back burner for now until I have a mate around to help with it, the petrol method first and then break out the dremel if it doesn't work.

I owned a Vidi product of some type (i totally forgot till i saw this thread) and i believe i used it to digitise VHS images to my Amiga, AND ... i still have actual images saved here from the capture software (Might even be zoned from a year ago)
