You're welcome
I suddenly realise I have an issue of Amiga Joker that has a two-page interview with you. It was part of the monthly 'Was macht eigentlich..."-series in which they interviewed Amiga programmers from past to present (1993 that is).
Its time to dig out my magazine collection once again. Just curious: have you also programmed Kick Off 1 and 2 on the C64? |

That would be very cool, thanks
No, I had nothing to do with the C64 version... it was reverse engineered, as far as I know. |

Kick Off 1 advert in The Zone
I have put a one-page advert for Kick Off 1 in The Zone. The rest will follow the next days.
Are you still interested in the Kick Off3 review by CU Amiga as well? |

Dino, I have also posted a different full page ad for Kick Off to the Zone. I also have some box scans of several of the Kick Off games if you're interested.

"Was Macht... Dino Dini"-interview is in The Zone.
I have put the “Was macht…” interview in The Zone. It is written in German. My apologies for the low quality of the scans. I was a bit in a hurry this morning.

Hello,
I could provide you with reviews of KO, KO2, all those extra disks for both parts, PM and Goal! from at least three german magazines. Hope it isn't a problem for you that these articles are written in german. If you should be interested, please tell me where I should send or upload the scans. |

Links to Kick Off 2 adverts and Zzap Competition
I have discovered The Defguide to Zzap is back online with scanned magazines. This will save me the hassle of scanning pages. Grab them while you can.
- On pages 65-67 in Issue 61, May 1990 you can find an article called "The Big Match". It is a funny description about a Kick-Off 1 competition between Phil King (Footy fan and Zzap reviewer) and one of his readers: http://www.zzap64.org/fullissues/zza...61p65to80.html - On page 32 of this very issue you can find a scanned single-page advert of Kick Off 2: http://www.zzap64.org/fullissues/zza...61p17to32.html - Page 48 in Issue 66, October 1990 has a one-page advert of Kick Off 2 which has more descriptions: http://www.zzap64.org/fullissues/zza...66p33to48.html - Finally in the December 1990 issue, you can find a two-page advert of Kick Off 2 and Kick Off 2 Extra Time on pages 62 and 63: http://www.zzap64.org/fullissues/zza...68p49to64.html |

wonderful! There was even a review of Player Manager, which is great because I don't think I have any of my own.
A big thank you. |

Wow Dino Dini
Dino was surely the daddy of Soccer/footy games on the Amiga and in some way the Atari ST too.
When i 1st played Kick off on my friends ST i could barely control it and got thrashed loads of times, The Roar when i scored my 1st goal i nearly shouted the roof off the house When i got My own Amiga i practiced like hell on kick off II my friend and i used to play every sunday for about 3 years! When he got Sensi Soccer and said it was better than Goal i called him a Looney how could he insult Goal. Still i played Sensi for a while but for me it never had the same atmosphere Sundays were never the Same. Kick off series & Goal Ruled -= Respect =- Dino! Gonna sign this patition in a mo! |

I bet he was just referring to that (silly?) SWOS vs. Kick off debate.
