amiga 4000T and loading some disk problems

I have a stock amiga 4000T that when loading certain game disk that I downloaded like Benefactor it gets to the cracked screen and then just sits at a black screen after that.
I hooked up my A1200 and it just loads the disk all the way to the game after the cracked screen.

I have tried disconnecting the HD's and CD-rom but it didn't help. I don't have another Floppy drive to try so that is out but it works with some other games and workbench disk and app disk.

So before I start ripping it apart more I was wondering maybe someone else had issues like this and figured it out. Maybe ROMs or some other weird problem just seems weird it works on my A1200 but wont load on my A4000T.
Only other thing I can think of maybe because it is a A4000T/040 and that screws it up?

With a machine like that you'd be better off using WHDLoad tbh, it's not going to be super compatible with the 040 in there from the off.

One thing I forgot to mention Amiga4000T owners will know what I am talking about is the disk drive cable is suppose to be hooked in the middle of the connector cable when using one drive before the twisted end. I read it a few times to make sure but when I hook my drive in the middle it will boot the disk but cant tell when I change the disk.
If I put the drive back to the twisted end connector on the end of cable then it acts normal again which the book says not to run it that way with a one drive system.
That is the only other thing I can think of giving me headaches.

Is there anywhere I can buy a HD replacement floppy drive?
I found a few 880K DD floppy drives but never the HD.

If your floppy drive works properly in Workbench and with other programs, there's almost certainly nothing wrong with it. Lots of games and demos will have compatibility issues with 68040 machines.

(Is your A4000T a Commodore or Amiga Technologies model?)
