Due to popular demand, the next Scottish Amiga Users meetup will be held on Sunday, 9th December 2018, from 12 noon until 6pm. It will take place in the same venue as last time (Shawlands Church Hall, Mossside road, Glasgow G41 3PT), and afterwards we'll head to a nearby establishment for food, drinks and more chats. There'll be plenty of Amigas on show, and some other retro hardware too. Hope to see you there!

Who needs a case? Show off the board in all its glory!
(I can probably rustle up a case if you're stuck) |

Less than two weeks to go until the meetup It's generally a pretty casual format, with lots of Amiga and other retro gear to have a look at, but the features we'll have at it include:
- OS 3.1.4 installation workshop - SWOS tournament - Magazine corner And, depending on some things coming together: - Demonstrations of some upcoming hardware - MIDI demonstration/workshop |

Ha, I'm only in Glasgow a few years, but I've heard tell of the legendary piratefest that was the Barras market

I had a friend (she's still there actually, still see her a couple of times a year) who used to live round the corner in the east end and had a few interesting trips to the Barras back in the day, the stuff on sale, dodgy doesn't cover it!

The next meetup of the Scottish Amiga Users is now booked for Sunday, 28th April. It will take place in the same venue as last time (Shawlands Church Hall, 111 Mossside road, Glasgow G41 3PT), from midday until 6pm, and then on to a local establishment for food and drinks. All are welcome, there'll be a nice selection of Amiga and retro machines to have a look at, and if you'd like to bring your own along, let me know and I'll reserve a space for you.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Entry is free, but donations towards the hall hire would be greatly appreciated. |
