WTB/WTT: A1200 in USA -

Looking for the following.

A1200,
The more mods the better maybe.
I know some of you dumpster dive for Amigas. Share the love
Accelerators Welcomed
IDE Hard Drive Mods Welcomed/ CF even
CD Rom Mod Welcomed.

Just kinda seeing what might be out there before roughing it on the bay.

Please Note:
I do not need a monitor. Was able to find an NEC FE700 17" Multisync for peanuts today brand new in box (basically) for $20. Came with Intellibase too.

Trades: I have a PSP Classic with 2GB Stick,
Panasonic SXR55 All Digital Reciever (Complete with Remote Manual etc.)

Zetr0, I just missed an amiga in Utah with 030 accelerator in it for 175 and shipping A1200. Was on amiga.org of course. Good thing is I have RSS feeds from USA, CANADA and MEX to monitor amigas stuff. Its fun! National Dumpster Diving from the comfort of your lounge chair

Hi, did a bit of checking about your monitor. I have access to these so was hoping to find that they would support native Amiga screenmodes. Sadly from the monitor manual it would seem that they dont...

Synchronization Range:
Horizontal:31 kHz to 70 kHz Automatically
Vertical:55 Hz to 120 Hz Automatically

Thoughts on the FE700.

A guy in charleston, SC turned me on to it. Says it works without a scan convertor or doubler. Interesting thought. Maybe I am missing somthing. I read the specs too from nec and saw what you did. Doesnt mean it wont but the manual sure doesnt indicate. He was using the rgb to vga plug thats all. BTW, There is a free one for pick up in SC today until 12. Then its being dumped on a street corner or so i hear.

Specific Instructions for free pickup

Multiple people have responded. I am putting it outside today at noon.

You will see it if you go downtown to Columbus and Meeting (by the Pig) and park in the Simply Fashions parking lot. Look across columbus and if it is there you will see it. I will be putting it out exactly at Noon today Saturday.

Another link to a user profile although i didnt translate for scan doubler in the profile (using a FE700)

Heres to hoping I dont have another useless CRT in the attic.

Ok.. Good luck with it! I hope that the SC guy is correct.
The Polish guy is using a Bvision graphics card that outputs VGA frequencies.

Let us know the outcome if you get a chance to try it......

makes sense.
I might be wrong.
My sx-1 should be here shortly. Ill give it a try then.
I also have a sony CDP200GS (vaio purple monitor from long ago that I could try.
but the specs on that too say no. Its from like 1998 or something. that thing was high dollar in da day @ 699. I bought it open box for around 350 or something. Still have that vaoi case somewhere. Could be a cool tower 1200 project if it fit.

THanks for the polish translation
