I am sadly selling my Amiga 1200 due to lack of space.

I'd check to see if this is re-sellable.. reason I say is it is registered in YOUR name and if you sell it you're basically doing 2 things!

1). Selling your RIGHT to use registered WHDLoad
2). If you sell it and then USE your own key you are using illegal software and distributing your Keyfile which is not permitted!

As Bippyman has already pointed out your in GREY area

In principal a personal key is NOT transferable as once its registered to a single name & address it is the owners for life.

That is why multiple licenses were created for other software, with the registration being dependant on the number of machines it is being installed onto.

However you also cannot advertise for sale something you cannot transfer .

While I,m sure we understand your short of space & need to sell your a1200, maybe a bit of editting of your e-Bay advert would remove this oversight and prevent, further messages both here & to E-Bay advising you of the error

and delete the key off your HD (Physical delete it, don't just delete and leave it, use re-org to then clear all unused HD blocks)

Fair enough, I never thought about it. I will remove the key file from my Amiga and edit the ebay advert accordingly. Cheers
