Fake CF cards name and shame thread

Just tested some of mine CF cards with h2testw and found 3 fakes. Sandisk extreme III with speed of 7 mb/s and Transcend with 4 mb/s. In comparasment to Maxell 79mb/s. Not good.
Will post pictures later, typing this from IBrowse.

Yes, but how to distinguish fake chinesse cards from real Sandisks? Impossible imo.

maybe serial number and "made in china" should be more to the right? Does anybody got real with that label to confirm that?
ESP technology logo silver on fakes, gold on genuine ones?

The amazing thing is its not just the speed,its the capacity.

If you think you have 64GB or 128GB,you better check. The system may format as 64GB and may even read back as 64GB or higher,but is it?

I gave up on eBay for memory cards and mobile phone batteries after having far too many fakes

As long as it's paid with Papal thou I have never had a problem getting my money back. It's a real pain and a waste of time thou
