Amiga CD32 TF328 ide cable length

I have a CD32 with the TF328 expansion, I'm thinking of using a longer ide cable so I can place the compact flash card somewhere else.

I know with the A1200 it is not recommended to use longer cables because of the unbuffered interface, how about with the CD32 TF328 setup? would it be ok to use a longer ide cable?

You should ok, AmitenTV uses his CD32 with a longer IDE cable and has it perched on top of the Cd32 case

Thanks, I plan to remove the CDROM unit and route the cable there so I can open the lid and get at the card.
