I was playing the Tomb Raider reboot. Its actually a bloody good game! Looks spectacular and it plays wicked smooth. I like the gun play also, making head shots is a nice challenge (with a controller at least).

But Lara could be a little better in shape, hearing her gasp for breath all the time gets a little tiring

Found out that the Doom 3 BFG edition has achievements for playing DOOM I & II The graphic changes are a bit odd, but at least they didn't change anything game play wise in these two games.

I loved the Tomb Raider reboot, in particular how the story arc stripped Lara of her vulnerability in order to give birth to a survivor and hero. I also loved unraveling the secrets of the many tombs she discovered along the way.

You can even modify the bounce factor in the options screen.

Meh, to me that's the weakest point of the game. The tombs are just a chamber with a single physics or navigation puzzle to solve; often the solution is very telegraphed. I read that the tombs in Rise of the Tomb Raider are back to their classic epic size, so that is something to look forward to.

Well in the reboot she's very young, so must be the asthma

Still playing Terraria.

I wish there is better way to organize inventory and that there is like Bank with more room then regular chests.Takes forever to find stuff when you need it.

Still trying to figure out what Civ game to play next... Usually when I feel like this, I end up playing Civ 1, Civ 2 or original Colonization. (much simpler then those new gamez )

Speaking of Terraria, check out this awesome youtube series that builds an actual story around a hardcore character (hardcore = you die, you're starting over).

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...sjRf-YTieKnCNt

Now that's the kind of creative let's playing that actually gives you something fun to watch. No spoken commentary by the way.

Thank you for sharing, indeed it is interesting.

Interesting way to build a farm for something specific.

I did watch some tips & tricks youtube videos on specific topics and wiki page is great help.

Hope they get Starbound on sale sometimes soon...

You really like me to go to another EAB hiatus, pretending to be a god of some ancient empire and lead them into space now...

There is a good reason I don't play civ games much... they tend to drain time... Those are not your 15 minute games I can play like with terraria...

* gone fishin'...

I continue with fishing... 1/3 down of last achievement. Some were tricky to get, some require even change of dates on computer to start event... but overall, lots of fun, except this one that is annoying enough to make me create teleporters all around the world to be able to zip through fishing in time.

Did play opening video for all new civ games... cool, bot not as wow when I played first one back in earlier 90s. Spoiled gamerz...

EDIT: Got few more fish... and found out that it is possible to farm (to some extent) fish by use of piggy bank. Setup piggy bank near location you fish, and move all quest fish into piggy bank (only way to have more then one in inventory) and after you are done, move them from piggy bank to some chest. Still quite a lot of work, but somewhat farmed fish...

If you like exploration and puzzle solving then this is a steady (but difficult in some places) little game!

Well it goes like this... Whilst I sit at my 4000, to my rear I have my 1200 set up with every game I have. So generally I like something that can tick away on its own while I do stuff. So its Sensible World of Soccer. I take a very low level club and 'coach' them to win the European cup. All I hear is the cheers of the fans as the goals go in. I then tweak, train and buy players and then let the Amiga do its stuff on its own.

Next up I may play Settlers. Takes some work to start with, but then again I can let it run on its own and I just wait for the alert message telling me if I have lost land and need to go kick somebody. Still a great game.

Then I may play Arcade Snooker. Classic. Mix with that a bit of Manic Miner and Arcade fun with Space Invaders and I'm pretty much in heaven.

Always having fun and probably too much on the Amiga... but hey. I had to stop playing SimCity as I started to see the wire frame of the plots in front of my eyes as I tried to map out the real world in the same way.

Damn, did it... and as predicted, can't stop playing!

Just noticed I don't have all DLC... might get some while they are on sale.

Now that my hand is better, I'm trying to complete New Zealand Story (Amiga version of course!) without any cheats or savestates. Not an easy task....
