LED STORM - Actually a good conversion - SHOCK!

It's not often U.S.Gold publish a good game / conversion, but I've gotta say Led Storm on the Amiga is pretty damn good especially with that rock music.
I hope you enjoy my "Let's Play" of this pretty good fun game

Ughh... apart from the music, it's an atrocious conversion with terrible "push" scrolling (ala Bionic Commando)

Tim Follin never disappoints, he also did the tunes for C64 version and it's pretty flippin' fantastic.

Lovely music of course and it plays very fast. I was a bit disappointed with the steering though. You could never steer enough to avoid hitting the walls so making progress was difficult. I still played the hell out of it though back in the day.

Maybe if I saw the arcade version before I played this Amiga version back in the day I would have more negative feelings towards it but I really do like this version, fast, playable and lovin' that soundtrack!
Good game imo.

Hmmm, never looked at this much, as it was not A500+ compatible and looks like a cheap Spy Hunter knock-off! That scrolling is shocking given how the vertical is quite smooth, glad I didn't waste time with it! (A bit like Amiga Outrun too!)

Totally agree about the music; another Follin masterpiece. As for the game; I sucked at it! One of those where you had to replay it over and over, memorising the layout. Drove me crackers lol.
