Either its not an Amiga game at all, or its a PD effort.

In Breed 96 you drive a robot around (with keyboard iirc) to fight off the invaders.

It's definitely an Amiga game. I remember playing it on my cousin's Amiga when I was young.

What do you mean by PD? Bedroom coded/home-made?

Sorry, it's not Breed 96. You definitely controlled the robot itself rather than driving it around.

Based on your description of plain gfx and keyboard controls I always thought you were referring to a PD game. PD = Public Domain = Not for profit. Most PD games are fairly crap with bland gfx.

What is the difference?

In Breed 96 you control the robot itself. It has a laser that fires with the spacebar.

If it's not a PD/Shareware game, it should be here : http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...re_viewpoint=9
Good luck
