Tales of Gorluth 2, stuck with a piano

Hi

I've just purchased Tales of Gorluth II. Game starts on my 040 A1200,: and right at the start I walk up a corridor to a door, press space bar and then the screen changes to a piano and a door and the words "Tales of gorluth II, copyright 2016, Amiworx Software".

I bought the game on Groupees as a digital download so don't have a manual, perhaps that would tell me what to do?

thanks

Use the joystick button to open the door and space bar / second button to select a weapon (after the current level!)

Hi

I've tried that but I still end up in the room with the piano and the door, and I can't open the door. I think the problem must be the games pad I'm using. I'll try another one.

I tried another gamepad, and still no joy. I tried my commodore joystick (like in your picture) and pressed the button instead of the joystick and still no joy. Only pressing the spacebar does anything, and that is to land me in the screen with the piano, which I then can't get out of.

I've got a A1200 in a tower with a 040 accelerator, and voodoo graphics card, running wb 3.1, with 16mb of fast memory.

The funny is, I'm sure it did work when I first loaded the game. I pressed the gamepad button at the door and went into the next room and talked to somebody again by pressing the gamepad button, but I didn't go any further. I'm going to reload it, that might help.

I've found the solution! The right shift button works like the joystick button, heaven knows why. It must be something to do with my tower amiga and the configuration of the keyboard. I'm no longer stuck with a piano. now merrily fighting ghosts and zombies in the cemetery at Laufenburg. Thanks for you help Viddi. It's a great game. I like the way you can go back in time to get out of a fix.

Awesome! Thx and cool that it works.

CanĀ“t remember, if keyboard control is active or not in the final game.

Happy adventuring and just ask, if you need help.
