AMitcp problem with password

I messed about with AMItcp and restarted, now workbench prompts me for LOGIN and Password, my LOGIN was paul but i dont remember it asking me to choose a password. Is there a default?

I tried to find it in user-startup, but cant see it, anyway i can remove amitcp from startup altogether?

Also, is it possible for an amiga 1200 with just 2mb of chipmem to get on the net through a network adapter pcmcia, or at least file sharing via a network, or is more ram necessary. When i run miamiDX, it connects fine but i cant run anything else because the memory is all used by miamiDX

Not sure where the login command is called from if not from user-startup. Check the startnet script. You can remove the login command from the script completely, it is not needed.

I am quite sure that AmiTCP 3 + SMBFS run successfully with 2 MB RAM.

or erase the encrypted password from the password file so it's blank and just use enter for the password.

I think if you use 'login -f username' it logs in automatically as that user?
