I thought I'd post my own "game room" since I haven't done so in years.
This is my living room setup:

Featuring: Sega Megadrive (japanese first revision) with Everdrive, Sega Dreamcast (currently not in use), Nintendo Wii (fully soft-modded, my main gaming rig), Gameboy Advance SP, Gamepark Caanoo, Nintendo DS Lite, Amiga CD32.

My desktop Amigas are not there as I don't game with them, they are both in the "studio setup"

Nice Marios, wish I had my consoles setup somewhere ready to use. Instead they're all in boxes and only come out one at a time if I want to play them

I have my N64 setup on the TV at the moment tho

My 2 miggies (A600 and A4000) are in a desk on the right side of the console/storage furniture along with an Amstrad 6128. Will probably make another article about it at a point

I know mate. Sadly there wasn't enough room for a TV bigger than 27" for the playroom. I have an 42" on the living room instead.

@Fitzsteve
Cheers Steve my friend. I had to make this furniture once I moved house cause I had no storage to stack my spare miggies and cables/components and stuff.
I took advantage of the opportunity to design something from scratch without taking a huge space as well (as I might move house at some point in the future) being able to break in 3 parts as well.
It's the best I came up with and it serves me rather well gathering all my consoles for gaming sessions with friends or alone

Put up some new shelves for my Games!

I got fed up with my Games collection being in boxes and decided to display them in my Office/Games room!

This does not of course include my Big Box Amiga games, these sadly are still boxed up till the day I own a mansion...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pics... (sorry for the mess I still need to hoover up after drilling the holes)

Some Amiga CD Games:

CD32 Games (This collection took me quite a while to get)

My Sega Saturn Games (PAL)

And Jap Saturn/Sega CD:

PC Engine HU Cards, and look space for the little fella too!

Speccy+ 3 Disks (I have 100's of Tapes as well but they're still boxed up)

Some MegaDrive Games too...

And some loose MD Carts (large cart is Virtua Racing)

That's about it for now!!!

Hi! Since i have upgraded and restored my commodore systems since i last posted pics of them, i thought i would share some new pics with you all.

This is also the specs of both machines now-

A600-

Kickstart 3.1.
4mb Ram(2mb chip+2mb pcmcia fast).
4gb CF IDE(Classic WB 68k).
Pcmcia Transfer Adapter.
2x Spare 4gb CF Cards.
HxC FloppyEmulator V2 + 16gb SD Card.
A1011 External disk drive(Not in use atm).
+ Replacement keyboard and Membrane, case and capacitors!

C64c-

C64SD v2.0 INFINITY Disk/Tape Emulator + 4gb SD card.
2x 1541-II Disk Drives(Not in use atm).
C2n Datasette(Not in use atm).
+One dead breadbox c64.

Both systems are running on a 1084s monitor, with an audio switcher box for flicking in between both systems on the speakers, and 2 clicks on the buttons on the back of the 1084s will alternate the picture between the c64 and amiga.
Plus i have various joysticks and gamepads and original tape, disk and cart games for both of them. Although i tend to use the memory card systems i have running on both machines for loading of roms these days. Both systems are loaded up with pretty much every game released for them in one form or another.

Since digging these machines out, i use them on a daily basis now for gaming, mod/sid music playback, demos, and lately, lots of the amazing 8table pinball hd loader for some quick pinball sessions!!

And my hugely powerful pc is getting quite neglected these days which kind of says something about the current state of games, there just not as colourful and fun as they used to be! I am very proud of my commodore setup, the only thing i will do to them now is buy one of kipper2k's internal 4mb ram cards, to give me a total of 8mb of ram in my A600 And maybe fix the yellowing on my c64c, and i am contemplating whether to do a mod on the A600 case and mount the floppy emulator internally, with just the screen and buttons showing on the top of the case, but it would require some cutting and fine work.

Han.

Thanks steve, i think half of my enjoyment comes from the actual machines, and the other half of my enjoyment is being part of this great community

my room is a total mess. I own about 30 consoles divided over 2 rooms and some boxes in one of the rooms. and over 500 games. basically everything is hooked up almost (because I still play them all). so it's a mess with cords and everything. I will take a pic of it sometime soon

I recently put some shelves to display my games collection:

Underneath them I have a 60" + 42" + 28" hocked up with PS2, Dreamcast, Amiga 1200, N64, SNES, NES, PS1.

I'm in the process of making a huge table with slots for all the TV's, systems and more of the stuff that is on the floor/ in boxes and for new stuff

Why is it everyone who still owns an amiga has a messy room?! I'm not complaining... If anything they look better in a messy room! Like a little man cave.

I have a 600HD up the loft along with my vestax PDX 2000's a numark CDX and Rane TTM56 mixer (I spotted on of those in the screenshots!)

Expecting a baby so everything has been packed up

Oh well, at least I still have my emulators!
