Fuck final fight! we got DOMAN!
Holy shit what a game. The art is just incredible in this game. Tom finland meets golden axe, with more blood and guts than an italian genre movie from the 70s.

I've never played Doman, but I've seen it on youtube.
I like the graphics and gore, but imho, gameplay looks to me way worse then Golden Axe. Unfortunately, I've never seen Amiga beat em up that came close to any Capcom beat em up on arcades, and I am pretty positive it can be done. Just, no one did it yet. We have a great games like shadow of the best, ruff 'n' tumble, Arabian Nights... etc... with great, responsive, fast paced, gameplay, so it should be totally possible for beat em ups. |

Doman is not that good really. Golden Axe is, indeed, way superior, and not even Golden Axe is all that great to begin with.

Haha thanks for this little gem.
I see the movement and this sword-move is clearly inspired by Barbarian! |

I just now had a go of this little gem, and I find it to be a fairly playable cross between Golden Axe and Moonstone (with all the gore), and to be honest, I never found Golden Axe that good, anyway.
My only beef is that the game is in Polish (at least I believe so), and so the plotlines and objectives are indecipherable, if only an English language version existed. Nevertheless, I got quite far into the game on my very first go, if the percentages are anything to go by! |

It's Polish beat 'em up inspired by Barbarian and Golden Axe, and loose based on Polish "An Ancient Tale".
Game is downloadable here. About Final Fight, i think FF is better but only arcade/console version - Amiga version is bad ported. Golden Axe, however, is IMHO better, Amiga has not bad port. Last edited by Solo Kazuki; 06 January 2019 at 12:40. |

There is, still in development for a few years, Franko 2.
Some screenshots: Game is planned for consoles and PC, but because primary game was planned for Amiga there is (little) chance that game will be released for Amiga NG system (AmigaOS4.x/MorphOS...). |

N.B. Franko is also legally available to download from PPA. There are two versions - censored and uncensored. |
