What I really found annoying back then was my lame tendancy of often getting "disk not validated".. I had lots of personally made disks, and most of them while I was working got "disk not validated" often.. so I had to use programs like DiskSalv (if that was what it was called, was shit loads of years ago) to fix it.. sometimes that didn't work and could even break data, so I had to do a backup of my special disks anytime I updated them incase they got not validated... meh.. was so annoying to me.... (no, wasn't viruses, and no, I didn't want my disks to be write protected as I constantly wrote to them). It was just TOO easy to get a disk to become not validated.. arghhhh.

AGREE! I've heard it's the messy Amiga-Dos that causes this...

That brings me to something I personally detested from my Amiga days...

The white "Volume XXXXX has a read/write error" box. *shudders*

The fact that Commodore never gave two shits about the Amiga's potential in the first place...

Games with shitty DRM so you couldn't install them on a harddrive.

1. The original Amiga mouse that collected tons of sh*t on the mouse ball. It made playing games like Lemmings and Cannon Fodder really frustrating. You also had to apply a ton of pressure on the mouse buttons for them to register anything.

2. The 'brick'

3. The black 'write protect tab' on floppy disks. You needed to have finger nails like a 'tranny' to move it.

4. Trainers. They totally de-value the playing experience. Why play a game if you can get to the end very easily?

5. The b*stard who broke into my house while I was on holiday in 1997 who stole my Amiga 1200 with Blizzard 030 MK IV.

Erm, thats it I think.

I don't agree with trainers as they were optional. I hardly ever used them, but it didn't bug me they were there.

Second that Also if you play a game to (only) watch the end, there is something terribly wrong with the game
