Dopus 4.16 GPL and ACA-1231

For some reason Dopus 4.16 GPL from Aminet crashes on my A1200 with ACA-1231.

It works on all my other configurations: A600+Viper030, A1200+M-tec 1230 but gurus with the ACA1231, with #8000 000B error. Sometimes it brings to whole system down.

What could be causing this, and is there any way to fix it?

100% repeatable 8000 000B usually means something tried to use FPU instructions.

Not necessarily main application, it can be some unrelated looking library too.

That sounds very plausible: all the other cards on which it works have an FPU.

Gonna try the 4.17, thanks for the tip!

Ok, I have tried all the beta and non beta versions up to 4.17, they ALL crash with the same 8000 000B guru.

Are they all compiled to use the FPU?

Has anyone been able to successfully run Dopus 4 with this card?

it's not the ACA card it's the dopus4.16+ code is very buggy
on certain configs it will crash if the setpatch version is not v43 or later
replace setpatch on directory C and confirm

Thank you very much, Clauddio!

Replacing setpatch 40.16 with 43.6 fixed the issue!

Awesome. I would have never thought of this. Oddly enough, my other machines with 030+882 run also setpatch 40.16 and dopus works with them.
