Terrible Performance with A600 and Vampire 600 V2

I have a standard A600 with a 601 memory expansion and Vampire 600 V2.

I am using all the latest drivers (2.11 core and 1.5.2 SAGA drivers). I also have the Coffin 54 image and am outputting via HDMI to a standard ASUS 1920x1080 display.

The problem is that I am getting very bad performance, nothing like I should be getting. the main way the issue manifests itself is in poor video playback performance (link to video below). But the results in SysInfo also don't look right to me either. How do I go about troubleshooting this?

Here is a shot of Sysinfo:

1080p is not officially supported. Try 720p. The FPGA/CPU is driving the HDMI video, so the higher the resolution the more memory is used, the higher refresh rate, the more the FPGA needs to work.

Also, I think it would be easier to get help on their own forum: http://www.apollo-core.com/knowledge.php

Sorry I was not very clear, I am not using 1080p at the resolution, it was 720 ish I think, I just meant it was a 1080p monitor.

I have tried several times to register at that forum but the blooming confirmation email never comes through to me.

Have you tried without the memory expansion?
