Returning to topic, I just finish to see "Babylon 5: The Lost Tales", a direct-to-dvd movie starring some characters of the original cast. It's a very low budget production, nice CG but very few real actors, the space station is... empty. The stories (a kind of two special episodes) are nice as they are written by the creator of the series, but I think B5 is worth more.

This movie is not bad at all, but anyway I think it could be much better.

After first 3 seasons, I'm watching 4th season of Stargate Atlantis. IMHO the best sci-fi series, of course, just after new BSG. (Six and other girls rule )

I purchased ~10 movies in last week and haven't seen any of them except new Indiana Jones.

The first Friday the 13th teaser. WTF!! Hysteric screams, a way too slim Jason. Another shitty horror remake, bah.

Edit: Looks like a plot similar to Halloween H20.

Whitney (Amanda Righetti), Clay (Jared Padalecki), Mike (Nick Mennell), Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), Trent (Travis VanWinkle) and other young adults end up exploring the old Camp Crystal Lake (made famous by the original 1980 film). Soon enough however their seemingly fun weekend turns into a nightmare when each one finds themselves hunted down by a machete weilding maniac known as Jason Voorhees (Derek Mears).
Ok, he wasn't dead in part 2-4, but in this trailer he runs faster than Usain Bolt. btw: The new mask looks bad.

hey mate, i'm happy if you have passed a good evening with them

sadly on the last weeks i haven't seen anything particularly noteworthy, meaning i have not seen a movie practically in ages :/

some you may have seen already and that i enjoyed are:

Babel

The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada

both written by the mexican writer/screenplayer Guillermo Arriaga, also author of the great (but very heavy) 21 Grams...

Instead, if you want to have some fun and amazement, there's the gem of a movie:

Le mystere Picasso, 1956 by George Clouzot,

with the painter sketching on a semitransparent (due to lighting) screen / canvas while the camera captures his work while it take shape and colour like magic.

What's astounding, it's the fact that with a exilarated pleasure, as well as with an intentionality of a master and with even a lot of a struggle that is dealt with like a passionate child at play would do, some real masterwork comes in existence in few hours compressed in mere minutes in front of your eyes...

it is an illuminating experience, i recomend to find, if interested, a dvd version of this one, for quality reasons.

the story goes that the painting created in the movie were then destroyed, so that they would exist only on film, but i know i've seen a current photo of one of them hanging at the Moma (or it was the Pittsburg' gallery?)

however... these are movies i've seen a while ago, i hope to see something cool to report soon

Uhm, I saw Thridspace, a Babylon 5 movie. Very nice, inspired to HP Lovecraft's works about Chulhu & Co. I am even watching a nice anime series, Seirei no Moribito (The Guardian of the Holy Spirit). Nice, settled in a Japan-oriented fantasy world, the main character is a strong (but realistically not invincible) warrior woman who fights with a lance..... I was so tired of all those katanas and sword I ever see in anime!!!!

Yesterday i watched Mirrors with Kiefer Sutherland. Very entertaining mystery horror stuff. Nothing new, but a nice genre mix with some thrilling moments.

Ah. I 'grabbed' this one quite a while ago but have never got round to watching it. It looks great though! Will have to give this a shot soon.

I'm done with Rome series and all I can say: fuc*ing good!!!!

Politics, brutality, sex, blood,... all those ill things that make normal life...

Note sure what's next that I like to watch. I got 2 HotShoots movie (tarded enough), first Poseidon and couple of other movies from that era.

Also I might finally watch rest of Wolf's Rain episodes as I stopped somewhere at episode 20.
