WinUAE Bug/Issue Source Code Function Call
not sure where to post this but i had an old Amiga Program that i compiled but when ever the program was run when ever it got to the dice() function in the code the program crashes any thoughts?

Welcome to EAB  No much to go on here; Toni does have a very powerful crystal ball but I fear that it's not enough this time  Can you provide more details; such as: a) exact version of WinUAE used e.g. v3.5.0 [32-bit]. b) enable full logging (under "Paths") then attach logs after the issue occurs. c) any steps to reproduce. d) maybe even the source code (or part of) the program you compiled. |

Also, maybe explain why you think its the system emulator instead of your own code that makes the program crash?

Configuration (.uae) file?
Did you made configuration that is like your Amiga on which you used that program? Use Quickstart. Sometimes Amiga programs don't work if you run it with accelerated options. For example, if you put floppy speed on Turbo many programs (mostly older) won't work. |

As others said there is a lot of information missing! Basically you provided no info at all except that your program crashes. In which way does it crash? Simply does nothing? Reboots the machine? How is dice() implemented? Maybe it needs FPU and you didn't configure UAE to use one. Maybe a library is missing? Etc. pp! I'm pretty sure this is not a WinUAE bug though!
