Don't specify novice mode when asked for your skill. And make sure that your ADF's are write protected, otherwise they will be destroyed if you choose novice. (It tries to install to the floppy disk; first step is to delete old files, which will render the ADF unusable.) If you select intermediate or expert user, it will ask where to install to.

Do you mean that you got it installed properly? If so, then great.

This is only if you use a folder as "filesystem". If you use a hardfile, then also the "Novice" mode work! It seems, that a "folder"-Harddisk is not really recognized as harddisk in AmigaOS.

One should never use novice mode when installing software because with novice mode you trust the author that he considered all possible eventualities which is next to impossible. If you want to have a little bit of control over what is installed into your system and where, you should not use novice mode.
