Is it possible to get color output from A500 Compsite Mono Out?

The RGB port has a composite signal in it on one of the pins, could wiring it to the Mono port somehow give me a color composite picture? Is such a mod possible?

There's no composite video output on the RGB port, only composite sync. It would be possible to add the extra circuitry required internally however - there's lots of space inside the A500.
