Yes, it's Win7 64bit. A 64bit dll would be great. I'm sure also other 64bit Windows users would appreciate joystick support.

It's the fourth hit when I search "Gods remake" for me, that's pretty good

@JOTD: maybe you can do something with the new jlink tool in modern versions of Java so people don't even need a runtime installed anymore

I love it! Have it since forever. Thanks for the the x64 version of the joystick.dll file, BTW. I do miss two things, though: the ability to fully configure graphics (I'd like to play full-screen at 1920x1080 4:3 or at least at 4:3 with unstretched graphics) and the ability to configure controls (I'd like to jump using a button instead of up). Everything else is awesome! Thanks for making it available for us. Cheers!

thanks! jump with "shift" already exists in the options ("more options / jump : up/shift). And with joystick it's the second button, so option already exists.

For the resolution, I'll have a look, whereas I add 64 bit support for DLL.

Second that. In windowed mode it's small and not resizable, in Fullscreen mode the aspect ratio is not correct which I don't like either.

For now I just created a "Gods Windowed Double.bat" (Window, double size and Intro included).
Configurable Window Size and/or Fullscreen with correct aspect ratio would be great additions.

Just an Idea:
A launcher IDE that lets the player choose (Intro or not, Windowed/Fullscreen, Windowed 1x or 2x and later maybe even resolution)

Hey JOTD! What about Gods Deluxe in 2020? any plan on update it? Your GODS DELUXE with custom levels was better than 2018 remaster version on steam.

hey thanks for this. Yes, they could have created new levels (I would have bought it) in the remastered version...

I wish I hadn't written it in java too... but java works with windows 10 and so does Gods Deluxe. I tested it recently on 2 different win10 computers and it works.

Yeah you are right. Works with "in command line screen" Deluxe "JOTD" Gods still the best!



What you prefer for an easy tileset edit solution? I would like to improve with a new version. I mean what kind of programme is the best for an easy edit? What kind of software Yashir work?
Palette editor only import/delete frames?

I used to work with PaintShopPro, Gimp is also a possibility. I don't you what Yasir used. You'll have to ask him...

Palette editor is just meant to map image rectangles to frame names.

The game can't really freeze. Checking the console probably shows a java exception in the background...

BTW a Gods fan (Rick) created a new 4-level set (lockdown can't be all bad!). I've zoned it. I can't tell the quality of it because I didn't spoil it by editing the levels. I just had time to play world 1 level 1 (workload is pretty big ATM) and that looks promising.

Can't get the Joystick working. I have 64-bit Win 7. Where does the DLL go? Tried it in root folder, in the bin folder and in the joystick folder. Doesn't work.
