Hidden subgames
Looking through some of my old magazines, I came across an article (in Amiga Power 13) on hidden features of games.
Some of these have also been mentioned in a previous thread: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=1947 Bomber (Judge Dredd) Chrome (Switchblade 2) Dux (Lotus Turbo Challenge 2) P.O.D. (Lotus 3) Pong (Alien Breed) Rox (Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge) Also something rumoured in Space Ace II Does anyone know of any other hidden games? |

A well hidden game to be found somewhere in Space Ace 2 - well, that pretty much describes the situation about all the ReadySoft laserdisk conversions

The Killing Cloud has a hidden subgame called "Astra Attack". I dont know if you can access it from within the game, but its on the disk. The game disk is in MS-DOS 720k format so it can be mounted on WB and Astra Attack run from there. I think

Maybe this thread might possibly be merged with the Easter Eggs thread given the similiar territory?
Anyway, though not a hidden game, recall that Op Thunderbolt on the Amiga had a hidden crazy difficulty level-if you entered "Speccy Mode" on the high score table you would get mass attacks ala the speccy game. Usually had to reset to turn it off as your chances of getting a high score again to switch it off were remote! And well recall the aformentioned game within Lotus 1-it was the cheat mode given in Zzap!(?I think),at the time, & in the absence of any other cheats couldn't skip/advance through the game, but was stuck with that annoying repetitive shootemup! |

A CU Amiga coverdisk sported both those mini games as standalone executables.. I think I still have that disk somewhere. |

Although the game it'self was rubbish you could have a go at defender in gloom to earn an extra life. Not sure whether this was classed as hidden though?.

Slamtilt has a lot of subgames, that are not exactly hidden, but you must activate them.
Also subgames in Basejumpers and Viz n Liz. |

It's not exactly hidden, but you could play Maniac Mansion in Day Of The Tentacle.
