Database has been created by a newer version of this application

Hi,

Running FS-UAE under Linux Mint XFCE I get the following error...

An error occurred starting FS-UAE Launcher:

Exception('The database has been created by a newer version of this application. Have you started an older version?',)

FS-UAE Launcher cannot start because of this.

Any idea how to fix it please?

Hi, this happens when downgrading to an earlier version (using earlier database schemas). You can downgrade, but you'll have to manually delete the "too new" .sqlite databases.

The easiest solution is just to delete all *.sqlite files belonging til FS-UAE Launcher, as they will all be recreated on demand.

Thanks for your help, that's fixed it. I didn't intend to downgrade so I don't know how that could have happened. Oh well, shortly after the automatic updates took care of bringing it back up to speed and it's stopped complaining so I'm back in business.
