Lemmings Pre-Release Demo (Dated from 1990)

Moved into a more relevant sub forum:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=638963#post638963

Thought I best post this up here!

Recently backed up an old pre-release demo of Lemmings I had and put a video of it up on YouTube. Features some new stuff like a different title screen, (what I believe to be) varied music (level 5 has new music if im not mistaken) and new level ordering.

Ill take a photo of the disk later.

Thank you, I think older title screen from this movie is better than used in game.

I'm sure I've seen that intro screen somewhere before. It rings a bell... might have been featured in Amiga Format before it was released.... hmmm now you got me wondering!

I definitely remember playing at a friends house an early version where when you turned a lemming into a bomber it did the usual '5,4,3,2,1' on top of his head but then had a '?' symbol before exploding. This would've also been around 1990 as I remember just getting some CU Amiga disks such as the demo of Rotox and Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Lemmings Early Demo - The Lost Amiga Soundtrack [Emulated]
This "lost" soundtrack was on what appears to be on an earlier demo of Lemmings released somewhere around 1990. This music cannot be heard throughout the demo itself, but rather the mod files need to be extracted out of the disk itself. Mindless at lemmingsforums.net was the one to extract the data files. The tracks in this set are sorted in a random order, as there is no way to figure out on which levels the tracks were assigned.

Excellent! Also, the A-Team tune is just great! The second time I find that tune in an Amiga game, the other one was a radio station in XJ220...
