How to access more than 20 floppy images?

I'm going to need to restore an old hard drive backup that spans more than 20 floppy images. How do I configure that kind of disk swapping in FS-UAE? Looks like 20 is the max.

From experience, and the documentation, 20 is the maximum number of floppy images possible. At the moment I see no other way than to use Win-uae to recreate your hard-drive. Once you have it as a .hdf or system folder you can use that in FS-uae. It should also be possible to use Amiberry to restore it with more than 20 disks.

Sorry, I just don't think FS-uae can do this.

OdThe Amiga has one floppy drive and will handle your problem without any problem.
Just replace the floppies under the emulator when it commands the program in which the backup was made

FS-UAE does not allow you to exchange floppy disks (adf) while the emulator is running ?

FS-UAE requires you to specify the adf images you can swap (max 20) in configuration. At least that's how it is when configured via the conf file. The launcher UI is not packaged for Debian atm, but that's another story.

However, I was able to work around this by saving state, quitting, changing the images in the configuration, starting, and loading state.

I use symlinks (linux) like

ln -s SomeDisk.adf DiskSlot1.adf

Then you can switch disks in a terminal window.
