Search all the major Amiga forums in one go

I've just 'rolled my own' Amiga-centric search engine and thought I'd share it with you. It filters out all the irrelevant detritus you'd get when doing a general Google search for Amiga related discussions.

I'll do another one just for Amiga news sites when I get a chance.

Edit: I've made another one just for searching the major Amiga game databases.

Nice idea!

I just searched for "Green Five" and wanted to find this title: http://hol.abime.net/5382
but I had no luck, no search result. Also with
Green & Five
i only got all "five" and "green" results.
Do you have any search tips for phrases with more than one word?

Anyway, i think it's a great idea to have an Amiga related search. Nice work!
You should add http://obligement.free.fr/articles/listejeuxamiga.php too, this site has a lot of hard to find games listed.

Hmmf, that's disappointing. I imagine it's because Yahoo haven't crawled that section of HOL etc yet.

Yep, if you go to www.yahoo.com and search for site:hol.abime.net "green five" you don't get any results either so this appears to be the case.

Beyond using Yahoo's advanced operators there's nothing you can do about this unfortunately.

Thanks for the Obligement tip. I've added it to the list.

Edit: Google offer a similar service though I can't get "Green Five" to appear with this either, yet you get a few hits using Google's non-customised search engine.
