Is there any way to open/edit/save a .bin file on Amiga?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I just had to ask for a little side project I am working on.

This is a problem with AmigaOS - no monitor built in. Different milieu, in some ways progressive, in some ways unhelpful/spiritless. There are cartridges you can buy which have a monitor in ROM, as for other computers. (Action Replay and Nordic Power).
To do what you ask, download any Asmone/two/pro Assembler, or even Monam. They will give you a visual interface and you can use menus to load binary files into memory and examine and edit/modify/save them as you wish.

Newzap or file zap work.
File master 2.2 can do it also. |
