Floppy disk Playing Uridium 2 On A CD32

Hey there,

I'm aware that it's currently impossible to play Uridium 2 on an unexpanded CD32 via WHDLoad, but if I was to purchase a Floppy Drive unit (one of the analogic ones), would I be able to play a disk version of it, and would it run the same as on a A1200 (with the enhanced Mayhem mode)?

I think so. It needs 1MB ram and AGA for Mayhem mode, so it should work.

Case closed gents - I've just realised I have another problem to address - getting an ADF of the game onto a disk!

This is no problem -Once you have the Disk drive you can move the ADF from CD to Disk
But are you sure theres not enough memory to run the WHDload version.

There is a WHDLoad version that runs IIRC, but OS flashing drives me nuts. As for transfering ADF's to disk, would this require me to have WorkBench on a CD?

Anyway, I've put up a reward for anyone who can convert a filed crack of the game to an ISO - all it should require is transferring over the files from a DOS disk version and removing any DF0 references - but that is beyond my skills

I remember when i had this problem with SWOS. I was deperate for it to work on the cd32. In the end i got the floppy drive from Analogic. ( i think i was the 1st person on here to have got it) Just after getting used to quick loading times of the HD version i found it hard to keep swapping the disks so i just sold it off.
