Indivision CD32 problems :(
Hi,
I have ordered my Indivision AGA for CD32 at Vesalia website and at this point I am not happy at all with the product because of some problems. 1/ I ordered it to play on my LG 37" LCD TV (ref: 37LB1R-ZE). And I have no signal at all. I don't know the reason because my xbox 360 (vga) is working perfectly and so my MacMini. 2/ So I tried on my HP 24" LCD MONITOR (ref: HP w2408h). I get the Indivision logo, unfortunately it's not fullscreen. and the games are running worst than on an emulator (scrollings are awfull) (Oscar, Brian The Lion...etc) The Indivision rom is 1.4...I know there's the 1.5 out, but I'm stuck, I don't have a amiga 4000 to flash it, and they don't provide any software with the hardware. so I'm stuck. I would like to have a BootCD for the CD32. So I hope there's a way to fix those issue...I wanted the best for my CD32 but at this time, I prefer it's original Svideo output...even composite... Any tricks to solve this ? I would not recommend this product to anybody. |

Indeed that's very, very cool and unbelievable! I have create an account and opened a ticket.
Therefore, at this time, I have nothing against Vesalia, I'm still waiting their answer and how to manage the problem. Waiting for the boot cd now to see if it will fix those issues. |

Cool, but for the time being, run the auto adjust function from the menu/whatever button on your HP monitor & it might get better.
Some of my monitors require this to be done in a manual fashion after booting for it to sync correctly. PZ. |

2/ I don't plan to use the monitor to play games but the TV. My TV always Auto Adjust the screen, but with the Indivision AGA I have no signal at all... I hope 1.5 will fix this issue. and I hope that after the update scrollings will be better that what I have seen because for now they are worst that on the PSP emulator |

No worries, but there really is something playing on my mind...
If you have not an expansion & use the CD32 only for games (not as a personal computer), then why even bother with the Indivision? S-video seems fine for games so far as I'm concerned. PZ. Last edited by Fingerlickin_B; 09 January 2010 at 11:12. |

@gibs
Do you own a real Amiga mouse so you can click on the buttons in the Indivision Flash utility CD ? Also which CD32 games / utility CDs do you own? Our Boot CD will prompt for the asl.library and diskfont.library on startup so you will have to swap CDs to get these libraries loaded into RAM: automatically. |

@amigakit.com
Yes I own a mouse. I own an Amiga 600 & Amiga 1200 (both with CF) I own : Brian The Lion, Oscar & Digger, Disposable Hero, Pinball Illusion, Nigel Mansell, XENON 2, James Pond, ... I found the NeonLight Workbench CD for CD32 (not burned yet). Ok, I have just looked at the Neonlight Workbenck CD and both libraries are in. Last edited by gibs; 09 January 2010 at 12:50. |

Because of the weird Amiga signals, my TV often switch to black when "I guess" the CD32 change resolution screens. so I have to switch between another output and comeback to Svideo to retrieve the screen. Example : I'm on svideo, I switch to RGB, then I comeback to svideo.

NeonLight's Workbench CD allows you to change CDs without the CD32 rebooting, so even if someone doesn't know how to modify and make their own bootable CD, they can simply burn a copy of NeonLight's Workbench CD and burn their other files onto a standard CD-R, then swap the discs. Sure, making your own bootable CD is probably the best option, but this is still a viable option - http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=613893&postcount=59
