I saves multiple copies of my project and ALL of them do that.
I copied over the Redpill execs and still same problem.

The last thing I did was organized my IFF picture locations, I put them in the game folder instead on my root folder. Then I pointed to that location and save.
I'm pretty sure that I was able to load the project, but it's possible that I did not check the Sprite sheets button, so I'm not sure when the problem started.

Any ideas? Is there a way to check which picture is looking for?
I had crashes (before) when my sprites exceeded 50 pixels (approximately) by horizontal length.
Maybe that's the case?
Try reducing your sprite size, and reload.

It was using same sprite sheet, I wanted to add more sprites, but then it started crashing before I could change it.

I was able to save the levels and triggers. I redid everything in the new folder with same pics and new sprite sheet and it works now.
Definitely something got corrupted.

I think if Zener work on the next release where it does not guru that is the best thing that could ever be done now. A prompt message of an error or something. Yesterday I was testing the boundary limit in my game when moving right and left and the second I pressed ESC to return back to menu it gurued with me. I am not complaining before someone throws rocks at me...I am reporting a bug so it can be fixed in next release....

AAAAH...PEOPLE ARE THROWING ROCKS AT ME STILL.....- grabs shield and defend self - I will fight for what is right - thud, crack on shield from rock impact -

Can you test this image sprite sheet and autoslice in your RedPill ?
Normally, guru or freeze in Redpill.

amiman99 and xboxown, can you test too?

Sure, I tried both default ECS and AGA, it looks like the slicing was Ok, I can go to main screen, but when I try to go back to spritesheet screen, it crashes (same way as in your video).

However, what I suggested is the problem. That gfx you added is too large.
I loaded that image in Dpaint, reduced the size a little bit of that last sprite, and it worked with no problem.

In the attchment is the iff that works (with reduced last sprite size).

What is the question here (for me), why it doesn't crash on the last barbarian sprite (swinging with the sword), because it looks like it's very large sprite to me.
Maybe because it have a lot's of transparent pixels, and your sprite doesn't.

This behavior is strange. Normally, this sprite should pass !
If you replace this sprite with a rectangl, RedPill freeze or guru.

As I said.
Whenever I make sprite more then 50 pixels in length, it also crash to me.

Now, as far as I know, OCS Amigas have 32 pixels length limit (and unlimited height), and AGA have 64 pixels length limit (and unlimited height).
For Red Pill, something in between 32 and 64 is acceptable (50 px).

Here is a little graphics test I did, that should make it clear:

Now, the REAL question for me is why it doesn't crash on last barbarian sprite, that seems larger then 50px in height.
Maybe it's number of colors... or maybe number of transparent pixels (or both).

Test with this sprite sheet. The sprite rectangle is smaller, no transparent pixels, just one color.

I counted it now.
It's 51 pixels length.
Try shorten it just a 2-3 pixels more, and it should work
(50 pixels is my approximation... not exact number... could be 48..47..49)

If you had tested sprite sheet "spritesTest.rar" in my last post. it does not matter if it is smaller or bigger.
Redpill crash, freeze and guru.

Omg, you are right...
Just tested it, and crashes... I tried smaller... same... crash.... now I am curious to investigate.

How do you explain that I fixed previous problem, by reducing the size?
Working iff is in my attachment (on post 487, on this page)

Ok... new theory...
if you reduce sprite size to smaller then 32 px... it should definitely work.

This image guru my emulated Amiga 1200.

Now, check this out, I re-positioned the sprites so they can be nice tidy. I did the auto slice, worked fine, exited the sprite sheets menu.
I then clicked on Sprite Sheets button, and GURU.

@xboxown

Tell me... what's the reason you're trying to attract so much attention to you, all the time?
I am not throwing the rocks (quite opposite), but I am just curious.

if you clear sprite sword : no guru.
If you create another rectangle without or with sprite sword : guru meditation

Strange behavior Redpill.
Conclusion, bug detected.

It is not attention more than in previous post I felt that reply to my issue with guruing was like a hostility attack against me for expressing my issue because it was presumed I was attacking the program itself. Which is far from the truth. I was merely pointing out bugs on the programs so that it can have attention in terminating it and then in previous reply I was lectured about I need to grow up and learn how to use the program and and...and now...lots of people are reporting the same issue I have been reporting...

so I felt like whistling would have been an appropriate reaction and me going under the table from fear of rocks been thrown at me..because I felt if I express anything that may appear negative I would have a hitman targeted at my forehead.
