You can check an old thread on my blog. If you search "HxC" you'll find even more articles that might give you ideas

Hi Thanks
Yep it's Portuguese keyboard bought on German Ebay from some Yugoslavian girl by Polish guy (me) who lives in UK. Well at least is not yellow like the previous one and works perfect. |

Hi Lukassid!
Very nice work! What's the performance between a 600 and 1200 Amiga? (both with a 68030 or 68020 chip)? I don't know if i have to buy an Amiga 600 or 1200, for WHDLoad Games and OS 3.9 My other question is how to use a slim CD ROM drive, i mean power supply cables, where do i have to connect it? Thank you very much! |

The AGA chipset makes a big difference when it comes to WB performance. AGA will run with 16 colors at large resolutions (I can do up to 1280x1024 with the Indivision AGA MkII), where you cannot run realistically with more than 8 colors on an ECS chipset. For a WB machine, I'd go for the 1200.

There is no logical reason for me to have A600 instead of A1200.
Only nostalgia, I have no love for A1200 as I never play with one back in a day. |

Hi mate if you read this thread you will know that I couldn't get that Mitsumi to work. I had to use TEAC DVD-rom and paint bazel beige. Also you need JAE to 44 pin adapter not 40 pin. All the best.
