Cheers for that. Very interesting...
Basically, I'm trying to find a way to image FM Towns Boot Disks (720Kb) on a WinXP PC. Have to check it out and see if it works |

Hmmm, I know it's not really Amiga related but... nobody know's how to do this do they
I think FM Towns disk are usually 720Kb or 1200Kb and they get converted into a .bin file for use on Unz |

I was actually chatting with the author of OmniFlop. He's a very helpful guy and asked me to send some FM Towns FD images so that he could analyse them and try to implement support in OmniFlop. He did write back to me and say it is possible with a bit more analysis
He then requested that I send him some original FM Towns floppy disks also. Unfortunately I don't have any of these but my friend who has 50 original games does. Trying to convince him to part with these for a few weeks is difficult (which is understandable) so no real progress has been made PS. I like your avatar, is it from the homebrew version of Frog Fest (Neo-Geo)? |

OmniFlop - a universal disk reader/imager for Windows
http://www.shlock.co.uk/Utils/OmniFlop/OmniFlop.htm
You guys heard of this before? Covers a lot of formats by the looks of it......... except for the Amiga! *budumtish* Still, should be useful for people with disks from other platforms. Just hope you still have internal floppy drives in this day and age. |
