AmIRC will not accept AmiTCP

I have installed AmiTCP and AmIRC on my A1200 but for some reason AmIRC does not seem to register the presence of AmiTCP. I can browse webpages through AWeb just fine and ping servers, but when I try to connect through AmIRC, it says 'Unable to open a TCP/IP stack. You must install AmiTCP, as255r2, inet225 or a compatible TCP/IP stack before you can use AmiIRC'.

I found a work-around by installing socket.library, but is it not possible to connect directly from AmIRC to AmiTCP?

I got AmIRC from http://www.amirc.org/download.
There is no installer in that lha. AmIRC refuses to start on my 020 A600.
Other stuff like Ibrowse and Aweb works. Anybody knows where I can get LHA with installer.

It needs some libs. I really can't remember which but you'll notice if you run snoopdos that it's seeking some libs that you probably don't have. I don't think it has to do with amitcp since that's what I use
