FS-UAE-based Amiga Forever KX Light (with PPC support)

Now that FS-UAE supports PPC accelerators emulation with the newly developed qemu-uae plugin, was thinking how hard it would be to create an updated Amiga Forever KX Light distribution (http://www.amigaforever.com/kxlight/) that automatically load FS-UAE with an A4000/OS4 configuration running Amiga OS 4.1 Classics.

Final objective would be to have an i5 Acer laptop running AOS4.1 exclusively.

First steps:

1. Downloading Knoppix: http://knoppix.net/get.php
2. Remastering Knoppix: http://knoppix.net/wiki/Knoppix_Remastering_Howto
3. Compiling FS-UAE (with additional instructions for Debian): http://fs-uae.net/compiling
5. Compile QEmu plugin for UAE: https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/qemu-uae
6. From Knoppix to KX Light: http://www.amigaforever.com/kxlight/...xllight-60.txt

What do you think, doable?

Difference between the FS-UAE Puppy Linux Distro is that this will boot directly AOS4.1 instead of Puppy's GUI with FS-UAE launcher.

Well good luck with that. I can't get the AF KX light to boot from HD as it is now.

In this case I would use a debian netinstall, install xorg + drivers, install build-env + all dependencies, compile fs-uae + qemu-uae and auto-start it from .xinitrc. Much easier than remastering Knoppix IMHO....

For the purposes of the OP, I agree that this would be the best method.
