Eek Wb3.0, MiamiDx and strange menu behaviour.

I finally managed to install MiamiDX, and get the registration files in place.
Now, I have a problem configuring my Miami.
Because there are an awful lot of drop-down menus with that circular arrow. I have serious issues with trying to change the options, as the circular arrow does not cycle trough the options, and the drop/dragdown list just flashes briefly before closing again.

I am not quite sure what is going on.
Should I be worried? :P

My machine is aAmiga 1200 with a 500-ish meg HD and a 68030 accelerator card+8 megs of extra RAM (Do not ask if it is chip or fast, I am not sure, lol).
I have got Workbench 3.0, MagicWb2.1p and Mui3.8 installed,
and Miami Deluxe 1.0c.

And yes, I am a newbie. However, I used to play a lot with my Amiga 500+ HD so I do know something. It just needs to come back somehow.

Sorry, can't actually help with your problem, but...

It is Fast RAM, you can't have more than 2MB of Chip RAM so any RAM you add is always Fast RAM.

Okay, thanks for clearing that out for me.

However, my problem still remains. I hope someone can tell me soon. As it is a nightmare trying to configure MiamiDX right now.

Maybe this is too stupid, but who knows: you have to keep the mouse button pressed while you choose the option. The menu closes when you lift the button.

Okay. I forgot to mention the drag-down menu closes instantly, while the left mouse button is being held down.

I may be a newbie, but not THAT newbie
Maybe I should learn to be more specific...
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Okay, I thought I'd let you all know I found the solution to the problem.

Previously, I had a Logitech 3-button mouse + Cocolino PS/2 mouse adapter + Automatic Mouse/Joystick switcher plugged in in the mouse port.

I unplugged the whole thing, then plugged in the Cocolino mouse adapter, an PS/2->USB-adapter and plugged in my Logitech Wireless Optical. Took a couple of tries to get the device connected. Now I have no problems whatsoever, and the mouse works flawlessly, and the menus work just right. Even the mouse scroll wheel and the side button works!

I really am stupid sometimes...
