Switching from 11 to 9 fixes it, I can even switch back to 11 after that. Even survives a reboot.
The problem's back the next time I start WinUAE and boot up Workbench, though. So it's not a solution, just a workaround. Better than nothing!

Comparing log files might help to find out what is going on. Maybe..

Just FYI, I had to fight my Windows 11 Pro PC to allow me to run WinUAE64.exe yesterday.

The file kept actually disappearing out of the folder. I didn't get any Windows Defender notifications, but did find it in the logs.

Microsoft Defender Antivirus has detected malware or other potentially unwanted software.
For more information please see the following:

Detection Origin: Local machine
Detection Type: FastPath

I added a folder exception for it.

I WAS running it as Administrator in order to access a USB CF card that is from my real Amiga. That may have triggered it.

I've logged the switching from d3d11 to 9 and back to 11, maybe it helps.

This happens once or twice every beta series. And it is always Windows Defender, no other virus scanner reports anything. Usually it goes away next day.

I meant same log from working and non-working version (winuaelog.txt only). Exact same steps.

Any differences in the log are important.

Sorry, my bad!
Here's the log from Version 5.0.0 (doing the same thing, i.e. booting up the Workbench install, then changing from d3d11 to 9 and back to 11).

Nothing obvious in the log. Could you put config and both logs in single zip with clear names. Multiple files with same name can get confusing.

Does it happen without RTG? (boot without startup-sequence and check. Change RTG mode to some native mode and check)

https://download.abime.net/winuae/fi...ae64_5100b3.7z

Beta 3:

- Blitter channel change when active emulation update. Fixes Jim Power cractro by Two Lives Crew. (Another TLC cracktro with similar blitter bug..)
- AUDxPER=1 audio interrupt was unreliable. (AIBB sound effect hang)
- 68030 MMU PLOAD disassembly fixed (FC variable was not updated)
- Simple pad GUI control support.

Pad GUI control details:

Currently uses XInput (because it is so easy to use). Might use more generic gamepad reading later. Note that this is completely separate feature from GamePorts/Input panel game pad settings. This is not meant to support full, easy and complete use of GUI without touching mouse or keyboard. Option in misc panel. Can be also enabled using command line -gui_control. Command line overrides misc panel option.

Gamepad config:

A = select (pad mode)/left mouse click (mouse mode)
B = right mouse click (mouse mode).
Y = change active GUI area (pad mode)/TAB UI element change (mouse mode).
D-pad = select UI elements, "pad mode".
Left stick = move mouse, "mouse mode".

UI element special cases:

TreeViews: left/right = Tree level up or down. Up/down = move up or down in current tree level.
Sliders: select element, press A and keep it pressed, move left or right to change slider position.
D-pad mode currently only supports WinUAE GUI windows. (Not Windows file dialogs etc)

Mouse mode is only available if any WinUAE GUI window or its child window (including Windows file dialogs) is active. Mouse movement is restricted to active window.

On screen keyboard? Not sure if it is worth the trouble..

GUI control code is currently ugly mix of SendInput() event injection, UI Automation and win32 UI element API calls.

The drag and drop don't work any more for DMS files!? ADF files are no problem.

Ok in v5.0.0
KO in v5.1.0 beta 1/2/3

When interlaced line mode is Double, fields+ AND Native scaling is Bilinear AND Native (Interlaced) shader is enabled AND its scaling is Default, interlaced modes are broken.

The bug doesn't appear when I boot without startup-sequence, it only triggers when I boot into an RTG mode.

It disappears temporarily when I change RTG color depth (until the next reboot of the Workbench setup).

It also disappears when I switch from RTG to a native mode (and stays gone when I switch back to RTG, but again, only until the next reboot).

I've attached the Logs from 5.0.0 and 5.1.0b2 (and I just tested beta3, it behaves identically to b2 and b1) and the config file.

The harddrives panel does not allow to add anything. Click on any of the Add buttons, enter the details, click on Ok, the window disappears but nothing is added.

Not enough information. Is this new to b3? 5.1b1? What does "broken" mean?

Was the screenshot you originally included from RTG mode? (You originally didn't mention anything about used mode)

Yes, that was RTG mode, sorry for not mentioning it. Native mode is working fine.

https://download.abime.net/winuae/fi...nuae_5100b3.7z - ADF's and HDF's not sticking.

Toni, there was that Dpad right issue i mentioned, at any left side setting to go right, you naturally press dpad right, which takes you to settings at the top of the left side..

Y works as TAB to move between areas

OSK - would be aweseome even if its a pipe dream for the future

New to 5.1b1. Problems with some odd/even fields being or not being rendered. Might be connected to Genju issue. I gave you specific set of setting to reproduce.
