Lost game

I've been looking for "Turbo Trax" by Microdeal on IRC and on the web, does anyone has it? Does exist an ADF of this game?

If somebody doesn't login for some time, his account get cancelled? I had to create a new account twice...

TOSEC

It has been TOSECfied (it is listed in the TOSEC database). So the best place to get it for sure is:
http://www.planetemu.net/

But it is listed as being from Arcane Entertainment:
"Turbo Trax (1995)(Arcane Entertainment)[cr FLT](Disk 1 of 3).zip"
"Turbo Trax (1995)(Arcane Entertainment)[cr FLT](Disk 2 of 3).zip"
"Turbo Trax (1995)(Arcane Entertainment)[cr FLT](Disk 3 of 3).zip"

Not that...

Turbo Trax by Arcane and Turbo Trax by Microdeal are TWO DIFFERENT GAMES... Turbo Trax by Microdeal was in one disk and it was released in 198x...

Turbo Trax from Microdeal is on *everybody's* MIA list. It exists out there somewhere, but we haven't found it yet.

MIA list

So the MIA lists are the lists of games that people haven't! It's strange for me: MIA in italian means "mine" or "my" :-D

Indeed it exists. I have it in original form though I've never been able to play it. Codetapper has a rawDICed version of the game he used to work on a HD install. Never heard from him after the 90% mark of progress.

Can't just ADF it since there's copy protection on it. I have tried

I know there was the same game with another name. I believe it was Codetapper who posted it once. I'll go look for it.

Edit : Here we go. Car run.

going in the zone as I speak.

The game was "Car Run" - I've uploaded it to the Zone. It's got no titlescreen, but it seems to be Turbo Trax (Microdeal).

I'm not sure if it's an official version of Turbo Trax with another name, or just an incorrectly named ADF...

In this instance, it's not a word. It means Missing In Action.

The same way that Walker's moose wife went Missing In Action last year. She left with an elk.

I did, but that elk bitch met the bloody Mighty Moose in the forests of Wynulim. I had to kill them both.

FWIW, this Car Run image is already in TOSEC. Cody and Drake both uploaded one and the same file

Thumbs up So they are nice

Yes they uploaded on the Zone the same file, and I will give thanks to them, God bless them

I think that the ADF hasn't been renamed well. No title appears, I'm sure that the crack team has removed it, in Turbo Trax there were also some options I don't see. So any name is right for that game but "Turbo Trax --" is rightest, a Turbo Trax minor.

I'm happy, with this game I've completed a search. GREAT!

Well, I finally got around to looking at this disk. It is, of course, spread by The Special Brothers and appears to be a Quartex crack. If it's, in fact, a crack at all. It could be a stolen beta or pre-release. The disk name is Turbo_Track, which is also the name of the executable.

Anyone know anybody from QTX from 1988 that can verify this?
