Had no idea how deep and long is Final Fantasy for NES... only about half way through the game. Grinding gold and experience is tiresome... :S

As Dusk Falls

Just completed it (well one of the many endings)

If you enjoyed Detroit Become Human, Heavy Rain, etc, this will be right up your street. Not much animation, more photographic and changing effects. However the voice acting and storyline is top notch.

Basically about the events before, during and after a hotel siege. Highly recommended

Red Alert 2. Holds up quite well. Graphics aren't terrible in 1920x1080.

Being honest was slightly off putting at first, but soon got used to it and glad stuck with it. Great storyline, branching options too. Felt like the decisions you made had a proper impact (I know some of the Telltale games had the criticism that the impacts were not great)

I see... well after hours of playing it, finally managed to kill Chaos and survive the last battle. Order is restored and time loop is destroyed...

Can't believe how much game play they managed to squeeze in NES cart... and harder to believe that we did not have anything like this on Amiga...

Fallout 4... again.

I saw a video of a dude doing a challenge run using only grenades which was kind of hilarious. I had to give it a go.

Its too much of a grind though in the early game; the guy mostly got others to fight for him during the time where explosives are sparse. I'm not in it to generate views and subs, so I simply allow myself single handed melee attacks as well to keep myself in the action and speed things up.

Its a fun challenge, I give far more focus to crafting explosives this way. And I'm not lugging several weapons with me so I can fit the entire capital wasteland in my backpack. Fertilizer, vault tech lunch boxes and baseballs - so important!

never approached to Fallout4 yet, mainly cause i just played to death the third back then;
i'm not ready, maybe in future

atm playing a couple of indie metroidvania on pc
and Unavowed, a point n click i'm liking a lot
seems free from the grab everything syndrome, and with a lovely dark story
very good so far, also no stuck points until now

Fallout 4 is officially my Best Modern Game Ever. The base game is excellent as it is (especially combat) but with just a few mods you can turn it into a "forever" game. The 2 key mods I recommend are War Of The Commonwealth - if you tweak it right the Wasteland will come alive and constantly changing, with enemy mobs fighting you, your settlements and each other. Even watching the battles from afar is a sight to behold. And then there's Sim Settlement which completely rewrites and boosts that part of the game, making it into a real Wasteland Sim.

Becuase of these mods I've been playing this game for years and have maybe done only ~20% of the official quests and uncovered maybe that much of the map too.

Also, if you add the Film Workshop ENB this relatively old game can still look incredibly beautiful.

But what I'm actually playing right now is Matchless Kung Fu. This game is a trip, and so rather hard to describe, being a mix of so many different genres (maybe Kenshi is close to it in spirit).

It reminds me of some of the old classics which weren't afraid of innovation even if the results were sometimes questionable.

First time I finished Dune 2, using Dune Legacy engine. (makes game run in HD and allows multi select of units and few other improvements)

I also played couple of games of Humankind, which is nice Civilization like game, but still has some bugs (I played it a bit once it got out on day one on xBox Game Pass) most annoying one being that sometimes at the end of battle game will waits for AI turn even if AI does not have any units.Quick F5/F9 fixes that. (save/load game)

a couple of Snes titles
mainly Chaos Engine, that seems good also there (unlike Gods)
i'm liking more the Pal version over the Ntsc one

also Dragon Quest 3, fanEnglish translated; hope the game will be completable, in past i had some issues using the translation hacks

The Dead Space remake. It's very decent and the changes they made are not bad at all. Will have a look at The Callisto Protocol next to see how well that one works as a horror shooter.
