Played more Dungeon Keeper on the iPad, as I mentioned it's it some of those free to play games that try to nickel and dime you out of your money.
If you're not careful, you can end up spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on these things. I'm a bit embarrassed I gave in and shelled out 50 bucks, but I figure it's worth it as I enjoy it quite a bit. |

Played through the C64 version of Rick Dangerous, on cartridge
It's quite a bit easier than the Amiga version as the levels are so much shorter. |

I was wondering about that, I played it for the first time on a C64 and got quite far in it; but the Amiga version just kept on kicking my butt.

Ultimate Super Skidmarks (CD version) via WinUAE. Ahhhhh. Great game. However, not as much fun on your own. Miss those multi-player sessions with friends back in the day.
Also, still plodding through PC version of Medal of Honor (2010). I tend to give it a break when I'm stuck. The repetitiveness of restarting from a checkpoint gets monotonous lol. |

WinUAE - Fight'n'Spirit cd32 version - man, this game looks great, but finally I find a way to make it playable - cd32 joypad - simple, just one/two button standard joystick was never a good way to control fighting games.

Parasol Stars: Rainbow Island 2 (WinUAE). Great graphics and gameplay but I still prefer the first Rainbow Islands.

Proteus on PC, although I still don't know what to do.
Formula One Grand Prix on WinUAE. Drove just a few laps to celebrate the new F1 season. Thx again to lifeschool for his excellent savestates. 25 fps makes the game a lot better. Deluxe Ski Jump 3 on PC. Imho better than part 4, but sometimes frustrating. 4m/s tailwind? Again? |

You put on headphones and you walk around until you feel a deep inner peace. Its not a game, its a relaxation tool. Works quite well for me I must say. The only tip I give you is that if you see white lights converging towards some central point, go follow them

Been playing quite a bit of Plants vs Zombies 2 on my iPad, I like it a lot better than the first one.
I played through the iPad version of the first one a while ago and while it was fun, it got really repetitive and way too easy... basically the same strategy worked on every level. The sequel is quite a bit harder, and the levels have various objectives now, so it's a lot more fun to play... also, the graphics are really nice and crisp on the iPad. The big downside of Plants vs Zombies 2 is that it's full of in app purchases. I never buy anything like that, so I feel like I'm missing out a little bit... most of the IAP doesn't bug me as it's just to make the game easier in various ways (which I don't want), but the IAP stuff that bugs me is that there are certain plants you need to pay to unlock. I like messing around with all the various plants, but I'll have to do without these... there's no way I'm paying 3-4 USD to unlock a single plant (and there are several you buy at that price). EDIT - I also redownloaded an iPad game I played a bit a long time ago now, since a girl I know needed a friend to help out in the game... yes, it is one of those insanely boring freemium city builder games, Simpsons Tapped Out. I think I played it for about a month or so back then, I must have been extremely bored as this is so incredibly dull... nothing to do but click something and wait for hours for the timer to count down  Anyway, downloaded it again just to have a look at the little city I built... I like the way it looks, the graphics is really the only good thing about this 'game'. Last edited by laffer; 07 April 2014 at 22:08. |

I finished Castlevania 1 for NES, both Castlevania games for the SNES, and the Genesis one (without savestates) just a few weeks ago... does that help any...?
Also, I've been playing Link to the Past all night at a girl I know's place (just got home, 7 in the morning).. on a projector even, pretty nice. We spent quite a while looking for hearts (found all heart pieces eventually), and completed two dungeons... only the final one left now. Such a nice game. This is a really bad photo, the game actually looks great using the projector - Last edited by laffer; 15 April 2014 at 07:42. |

Me too.
I posted this on Lemon64 earlier just in case others might trigger this bug I somehow managed to do. Quote:
