Monkey Island 2 (Ibm PC) cdrom enchanced version

Anyone there who'd have this version of Monkey Island 2..?!

There is no enhanced CD Rom version of Monkey Island 2. It's only the disk version, pressed on CD.

The only CD versions of Monkey Island 2 that I have are the one printed on the disc with Monkey Island 1 (old collection), the one in Monkey Island Bounty Pack (or something like that, the box is deep in my closet, haven't seen it for ages.. and I think it's the same as the previous one I mentioned, only in a collection with the other three games) and the FM Towns version of Monkey Island 2.
None of these have any improvements, and I've never heard of one that does.

however there's a enchanced cd version of monkey island 1 with cdda tracks

IIRC the first Monkey Island was 'revisited' for the CD version to include the new graphical inventory. Does anyone know if the other graphics were changed for this version?

No grahics were changed, scroll down a bit:

This version has: 256 color graphics, CD audio music, Enhanced interface (same as MI2 with a picture interface). Since this version is on CD, the stump joke has been removed.

well.. i do already have the rare enchanced cd version of Monkey1.
Are you guys out there really 100% sure that the same kind of version of Monkey2 really won't exist? :-)
Maybe i'll believe its true.. :-/

The Monkey Island Speech Project was started by the Joe Davison at the end of September 2008 to add a voice over track to Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge. Joe started to assemble a cast of voice actors for the project and managed with the help of Justin Franklin, Evan Wade, Nojan Samimi and Laurence Dougal Myers to produce two proof of concept demos (still avaliable in the download section). But due to a lack of time and real life getting in the way Joe had to drop the project.
The Monkey Island Speech Project has since be picked up by myself (Ezekiel000 or David Rogers) along with the cast the Joe assembled (see Cast & Crew). We will be atempting to add speech to the first two games in the Monkey Island series, starting with The Secret of Monkey Island and following up with Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge.
The Monkey Island Speech Project is actually possible because of ScummSpeaks a program written by Laurence Dougal Myers.
“The technique used takes advantage of the fact that Monkey Island 2 uses the same version of the ScummVM engine (v5) as Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (although Atlantis is a later revision). Atlantis has a talkie version. Basically, the same code for speech is transplanted into MI2.”

It was found out by Joe that the same is true for The Secret of Monkey Island but only for the upgraded CD version.

Well there IS a CD version of MI2, it's the FMTOWNS version, only released in Japan. Looking at the data files, their size is a bit different and I *think* I heard one or two sound fx more, but it's basically equal to the disk only version.

There are PC CD versions too, as i've already mentioned. But of course no enhancements.
