Sadly RS doesn't deliver to Canada so I am SOL on this one.

Digikey has them. 1.52 for the ‘36 and 3.98 for the ‘72. More than 200 of each in stock.

@plasmab it looks like that's the 64-pin variant:

vs

If you guys are struggling for parts I could reconcile the TF328 to a single CPLD.

I don't think that's necessary at this point, I think most people have already got one.

I am not selling many on Amibay at all, there might be some people left on ebay but I think the demand is pretty low at this point.

In total I sold about 150 TF328s, now that was some serious building time.

Should be ok Steve as it states on the Digikey item page that lead time is sometime this month so hopefully they will have some in.

Its strange that RS do not ship to Canada because then his XC9536XL-10VQG44C hiccup would be solved.

I know what you mean Alen , its been non stop building here , so still a good few in Europe who want them, its been hard to keep up but I we have managed mate,
I blame Steve for making an awesome open source project for the CD32 owners who cant get them quick enough lol

Also considering digikey's greed in constantly increasing prices I think I should give UTSource a chance. The RAM I buy from them is mostly ok, even though there is a defective chip here and there.

Yep give em a go Alen I have had mostly good luck with their parts, and I just checked they have quite a few 44pin cpld`s mate

same here if I buy 100 Aliance ram then I have on average 3 bad ones but its easy to debug the TF328 so its no hardship

well I have some ideas for taking the TF328 to the next level.

Exporting CPLDS is subject to export restrictions so I can understand this.

Bit of an update. No time to stream but I got flashrom working on the TF534.

I also noticed a potential TF530 bug that I may stream about later

good news is that the spi code is rock solid. everything else (SD cards) is a driver issue.

Hello Stephen,
is it hard- or software related?

Greetings,

I'm doing a TF530 Rev 3 build, and am having trouble bringing up (identifying) the CPLDs in ISE. If I short the BYPASS jumper on the board, ISE recognizes one CPLD. Without the bypass, ISE complains that there is some hardware issue.

My question is - which of the CPLDs is having trouble here, is it the RAM or is it the BUS CPLD?

MORE DETAIL:

I have most of the ICs soldered on - the exception is no RAM is soldered on yet.
All the caps are on.
The resistors (non-array) are on.
The resistor arrays are on, but instead of 1K networks I am using 4.7K

I am using a bench power supply and measure 5 volts at the 68K VCC pad. I also measure 3.3 volts at the JTAG jumper.

Last edited by chue; 17 April 2018 at 17:31. Reason: redundant 5 volt measurement wording

If you have this issue either the RAM cpld is dead or the soldering is dodgy.
