I dont see how any of us forgot the great Military Madness\Nectaris for several platforms. Superb gameplay and unique theme.

Cool Nectaris & Space Baller

Twistin Ghost,
Thanks for uploading Space Baller. I have copied it to my ‘Amiga-games’ directory here at my work. It is getting pretty big.

Frederic,
Is Nectaris that strategy game programmed by Hudson Soft for the PC-Engine? I once read they would convert it to Amiga.

I always wanted Starquake to be ported to Amiga. It was planned, but never done

I-War (or Independence War) which was kind of a successor to Warhead. Its a cool game and apparently had a Babylon 5 mod.

Good choice there Angus. Certainly Elite III should have been ported. I remember writing to David Braben asking for an Amiga port . Another game that would have been nice was Deus Ex. That was the first game I bought for my first PC.

I wish there would have been well ported, AGA versions of the VGA Sierra titles.
The ones they put out are so bad they don't even count in my opinion (the ports of their VGA titles, except KQ6 which was decent).

I also wish the Amiga had a good version of Last Ninja 2 and not the sorry excuse for a game we got

This another game. Dimo's Quest and Apprentice (CD-i) were made by Infernal Bytes.

Super Sprint (ST version exists but no Amiga version!)
Raiden (I heard that it existed, although MegaTyphoon is close and very good)
Rastan Saga
Many early & mid 1980 arcade games could have been converted pixel-perfect on the miggy (Pacman, Pengo, Moon Patrol, Green Beret) but I guess retrogaming did not exist in the late eighties .

And slightly O.T. I wish most US. Gold ports weren't so crappy on the miggy

Raiden does exist, the programmer Ady Hirst should still have all the original files for it.

I asked him about it, and even proposed him some french goods to send to him in USA.

He told me that my proposal was nice but he has to check in the attic the DAT tape, and finally was not prone to check really, so i have stop the request, i never wanted to bother him.

Yes, I think the Amiga could have had some really good arcade ports, sometimes exactly the same as the original (Bomb Jack, Green Beret, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Choplifter, Combat School, Trojan, Black Dragon, etc.)
and sometimes close to the original (Rygar, Bubble Bobble, Double Dragon 1, Shinobi, etc.).
But unfortunately many Amiga arcade ports were rushed/botched.
One of my all time favorite coin-op game, WonderBoy in Monsterland, is a real pain on the Amiga, what a disapointment ! I think it could have been almost like the original if the conversion had been made carefuly. Halas the end result was nothing but insipid.

I would have liked to see ported to the Amiga some old 8 bits games too, like Bruce Lee, Secret Armour of Antiriad, TGACCRoad Race, Pacific, Crafton & Xunk...
