I used BWB to upgrade/degrade/change some non 68000-components on the WB to build a "nearby" WB3.9 for Zeus/MiniMig-Systems.

Could you find a way to load the icons into FastRam?

After the instalation is complete add to the new startup-sequence the modifications, if any, that you added in your old 2.x version (only if there is something that you added/modified on your previous 2.x version). Reboot and voila! BTW, this information is in the BetterWB.guide, in its FAQ, which is present in your help drawer, and in the first disk of the BetterWB set. But if anybody likes to try out my icon.library for the 68000 CPU, there is a new test version available now. Please give me some feedback or send bugreports for any remaining issues. Thank you ! http://eab.abime.net/coders-system/6...-versions.html |

Anyway, this is a great update to WB3.1, I have been using the previous version for my A600 with ACA630 fo quite a while and will upgrade to the new version pretty soon. :-) Last edited by jiffy; 14 September 2013 at 10:48. |

Icon.library 46.4.326 has been released on Aminet:
Aminet - util/libs/IconLib_46.4.lha The 68000 version is included now and seems to work as reported (successfully tested on 3 Amiga 500+ systems). Try it out ! You will get the best profit if you use it together with one of the original workbench.libraries v44+ up to v45.127, which can also be installed on any 68000 system, either with LoadResident or SetPatch v44 as explained in the icon.library readme file. Of course, the icon.library has support for the older workbench.libraries v39 and v40, too. Recompiled Stephan Rupprecht's CopyIcon for the 68000 CPU and WB 3.0+ This CopyIcon version needs no 020+ CPU and can be used without any files from OS 3.5+. http://eab.abime.net/coders-system/6...-versions.html Last edited by PeterK; 15 September 2013 at 09:53. |
